INFORMATION ABOUT TRASH COLLECTION

Every ward will have ONE LAST bulk pickup this year.  Please follow your schedule for next pickup date.  All bulk pickup will be temporarily suspended after July 11, 2013 due to budget constraints.

 

We will still collect brush on your scheduled trash day.

 

Our Recycling Center will be available for drop offs of electronics and metal.

 

Grass and leaves (while in season) will also be accepted at the Recycling Center

 

Your Garbage Collection Schedule will remain the same.

The Union County Freeholders are pleased to work with the UCEDC to offer a fast track loan program for businesses impacted by Sandy. PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING AVAILABLE WHEN YOU CALL:

  • A telephone number where you can be reached or a message can be left.  An address where you can get mail.  If you want your disaster assistance funds sent directly to your bank, provide the FEMA agent your bank account type (savings/checking), account number and routing number.

All homeowners who sustained damage as a result of Hurricane Sandy might be eligible for the City’s Home Improvement or Senior Grant Programs to rehabilitate their home.
