Please take notice that Aries Linden, LLC (Aries) will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Administrative Order No. 2021-25 to receive comments from interested members of the public concerning its proposal to modify the currently active Minor Source Air permit (PCP200002) and the Category Z- Residual Transfer Facility permit (NJ0286630). The proposed modifications will allow the facility located at 5005 S. Wood Ave, Linden, NJ 07036 to increase the currently permitted capacity from 430 tons per day to 450 tons per day. This capacity increase will allow the facility to receive to 20 more tons per day of wet biosolids. The requested increased capacity will result in an increase in Particulate Matter (PM) and Ammonia at the receiving area and PM for dried product loading. Per this modification there will be no increases in Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Sulfur Dioxides (SOx), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs).
Paragraph 2a of NJDEP Administrative Order No. 2021-2 requires a party proposing to develop a project in an overburdened community to hold a public hearing in the community to maximize public participation of interested individuals.
Aries invites the public to attend the Public Hearing, to ask questions and present written or oral comments concerning the proposed permit modifications.

The 60-day public comment period shall begin upon this notification date and conclude on March 16th, 2022. Please submit any questions you have concerning the proposed modification to be addressed during the hearing to or comments concerning the application here.
